The City of Flin Flon is hosting a Community Auction October 2nd to support the Pool Fundraising Committee. Recreation Director Andrew Smith says they have three days set aside for you to drop off items you wish to donate from 5 to 7 pm and the days are September 21st, 23rd and next Monday the 27th as well as September 26th to drop off from 1 to 3 pm all at the Channing garage. He notes if people want to put in larger items that they do want to have some sort of repercussion for they’ll be taking a five percent commission and the person will be taking their money back and they will be handing out tickets to everyone to ensure they know their items are going.
The Auction on October 2nd will run from 11 to 1 at the City of Flin Flon garage in Channing with a walk around starting at 10. Item descriptions will be posted prior to the auction. For more information you contact Danielle at dyungwirth@flinflon.ca or call 204-681-7542.
