All Regions in Manitoba are Reporting New COVID Cases as Numbers Still Go Up In Saskatchewan.

Manitoba public health reported 106 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified since Tuesday bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.6 percent. Of the 54 new cases identified today 35 were not fully vaccinated.  21 of the new cases were in Winnipeg and 16 in Southern health with single digits in other regions including seven in Northern health four of which were not fully vaccinated with six active cases reported in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage Sherridon district. Of the total 59,100 reported cases in the province 456 are active, 57,445 individuals have recovered and 77 are in hospital with 16 in intensive care.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 278 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 364.  The Far North East Two zone which includes Creighton, Denare Beach, Flin Flon Saskatchewan, Pelican Narrows, Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and Sandy Bay reported 10 new cases giving them 206 active cases.  Of the total 57,521 reported cases 3416 are active, 53,489 people have recovered and 184 are in hospital.
