The Flin Flon School Division Board of Trustees is ready for another great year and welcomed back students and staff this past Tuesday at their regular meeting. The Division is currently working on the logistics regarding bussing and seating plans for students in need. Families with students who are eligible to catch the bus will be contacted or if you feel your child is eligible and haven’t been contacted call the Division office or your child’s school. Plans for the upcoming year will be shared with families just before start up within a week or so. Mask use has been mandated for the start of the year from K through 12.
Board Chair Murray Skeavington welcomed the Division’s new staff and hopes this year will be more consistent than last. The Division will be going back to 4 o’clock dismissal time as students return to class September 8th. In closing the health and safety of the students and staff are the number one priority at all times.
