New COVID Cases Have Gone Up in Southern Manitoba While They Are Lower in Saskatchewan,

Manitoba public health reported 105 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.8 percent.  Of the new cases 41 are in the Southern region, 29 in Winnipeg, 20 in Interlake Eastern with only nine in Prairie Mountain and six in the Northern region.  Of the total 58,425 reported cases 412 are active, 56,824 people have recovered and 64 are in hospital with 19 in intensive care.

             

They also reported the vaccine super site in The Pas has now transitioned to a pop-up clinic at the same location. It will be open on Wednesdays from 1 to 8 pm.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 45 new cases bringing the seven day average to new cases to 172.  Of the new cases 17 are in Far North East Two with 65 cases now active.  Of the total 52,845 reported cases in the province 1528 are active, 50,725 people have recovered and 108 are in hospital.
