National Indigenous Peoples Day is being celebrated by the Flin Flon Friendship Centre Saturday at Rotary Park.  Program Events Coordinator Tieryn Steele says they will have food and entertainment.  She explains they have an opening ceremony planned with a free barbeque to follow, they have live performances from local artists and their headliner Jesse Genaille out of Swan River and then there’ll also be a penny parade and 50-50 raffle and a free craft for children and they are encouraging people to bring their own blankets or chairs to sit on so they can enjoy the show.

The celebration runs from 12 to 4:30 Saturday afternoon at Rotary Park.
