Another New Mural Has Gone Up in Flin Flon.

A mural has been installed on the old pump house building at the corner of Main Street and First Avenue across from the Provincial Building.  The Arts Council’s Danielle Yungworth says the fall water scene is a local project. She explained she wants to give a huge shout out to their artist Mike Spencer who worked tirelessly on that thing and they had to deal with lockdown and not being able to get to the hobby shop to paint and it was such a process and he did an amazing job and their two main sponsors for that mural are Kathy Lofgren and Lenna Gownenlock two awesome women and they wanted to put something new and beautiful on Main Street and their other sponsors for that are the Arts Council, NorVa and Creative Manitoba.

A picture of the mural can be found at www.flinflononline.com.

This is the second mural put up recently following the installation of Spirit Back by Winnipeg artist KC Adams on the Arctic Beverages building as part of the Manitoba 150 Wall to Wall Mural and Culture Festival Rural Mural Tour that we reported on earlier this month.
