Manitoba public health reported 44 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.1 percent.  Of the new cases 18 are in Southern health and 16 in Winnipeg with single digits in other regions including one in Northern health.  Of the total 58,176 reported cases 303 are active, 56,685 people have recovered and 62 are in hospital with 15 in intensive care. Manitoba is reporting a vaccine milestone with 75 percent of eligible residents having both doses and just over 81 percent have received at least one dose.

Saskatchewan health reported 244 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 146.  Of the new cases 17 are in Far North East Two with 63 cases active.  Of the total 52,065 reported cases 1381 are active, 50,098 people have recovered and 84 people are in hospital.
