The Freedom Outreach Program is sponsoring a Duck Race September 18th. The Program’s Ben Luc says the race will run in Flin Flon Creek along Riverside Drive starting at 2 o’clock so they’ll be expecting the ducks to come across the finish line at Wallace Avenue bridge. He explains the goal of this duck race is to raise money for the Ministry of Freedom Outreach which helps men overcome life controlling addictions. He notes they’re situated out at Denare Beach and he’s a graduate of the program so it’s close to home for him.
One thousand tickets have been printed and they are available at the Gateway, Northern Rainbows End and the Orange Toad. The prize is a 2021 Polaris Outlaw 110 cc quad.
