Manitoba public health officials advise the level in the Pandemic Response System is moving from restricted orange to caution yellow effective Saturday.  This reflects that the spread of COVID-19 is at low to moderate levels.

They reported 54 new cases since Tuesday bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.1 percent.  They also reported two new deaths with one each in the Winnipeg and Interlake Eastern regions with each of these regions also reporting 22 of the new cases.  Other regions reported new cases in the single digits including one in Northern health.

Of the total 57,739 reported cases 528 are active, 56,028 people have recovered and 91 are in hospital with 17 in intensive care.
