Manitoba public health reported 36 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon holding the five day test positivity rate at 3.6 percent. They reported no new deaths. Of the new cases 13 are in the Winnipeg region, 11 in Southern health and single digits in other regions including four in Northern health. Of the total 57,236 reported cases 909 are active, 55,162 people have recovered and 108 are in hospital with 29 in intensive care.
Saskatchewan health reported 22 new cases bringing the seven day average to 25 the lowest since last October 12th. They again reported no new deaths. Of the new cases 14 were in Far North West with single digits in other zones including three in Far North East. Of the total 49,472 reported cases 242 are considered active, 48,655 people have recovered and 55 are in hospital with ten in intensive care.
