Coordinator Jane Robillard says the Rotary Club’s District theme for this year is to end child hunger through the Rotary Feed the Children Program so our local Rotary Club is partnering with the Lords Bounty Food Bank and they’re going to provide lunches for children at Rotary Park and at Aspen Grove every Thursday from now until school goes back.

Robillard explains they meet at the Food Bank Thursday morning and bag the lunches which are available at noon.  She says the first was last Thursday with 32 children attending and ever single child said thank you and it just makes you feel good that you’re doing something worthwhile.

Robillard adds they expect the numbers to grow as more children become aware of the program.
