Manitoba is Moving to the Next Stage in its Summer Re-opening Plan.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced changes in public health restrictions in the province effective 12:01 Saturday morning running until August 7th including indoor gatherings at private residences are permitted to a maximum of five persons in addition to households, indoor gatherings in public spaces are permitted to a maximum of 25 people, outdoor gatherings on private property increased to a maximum of  25, outdoor public gatherings increase to a maximum of 150 persons, retail businesses increase to 50 percent capacity or 500 persons whichever is lowest, restaurants licensed premises and food courts are expanded to 50 percent capacity.            

Limit increases also affect sports and recreation, libraries, faith based gatherings and weddings and funerals.  As well those fully vaccinated can visit museums, galleries, movie theatres, VLT lounges at 50 percent capacity and at 100 percent capacity at the Winnipeg Blue Bomber game August 5th.
