The Flin Flon Ski Club nominated local volunteer Dave Price for a ski award and he went on to receive a volunteer award.  Ski Club President Dean Grove says this is Dave’s 50^th year as a volunteer with the Ski Club so he was nominated for a Nordiiq Canada Award of Distinction and he received that in June and then they received notice that he’d also been awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Volunteer Manitoba Award and he believes they’re coming up to present that sometime this summer and that was awarded to him for his work around the community with things like the Green Project. Nordiiq Canada points out they are lucky to have leaders like Dave making outstanding contributions to cross country skiing and moving the sport forward.  Volunteer Manitoba noted how Dave has contributed to his communities and enriched the lives of his fellow Manitobans.
