Saskatchewan health reported 56 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 49. They reported no new deaths. Of the new cases 16 were in Saskatoon with single digits in other zones including two in Far North East. Of the total 48,646 reported cases 609 are considered active and 47,472 people have recovered with 78 people in hospital and 12 in intensive care. There are 15 active cases reported in the Far North East zone.
As of Thursday 12,057 variants of concern cases have been reported in the province.
