Details on Public Health Orders Will Come Later This Week.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin reported 74 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to eight percent. He also reported one additional death in the Winnipeg region. Of the new cases 50 are from Winnipeg region with lower cases in other regions including three in Northern health. Of the total 55,405 reported cases 2075 are considered active, 52,205 individuals have recovered and 231 are in hospital with 58 in intensive care along with 15 in care outside the province. There are 22 active cases reported in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.

             

Roussin says case numbers are dropping and vaccine numbers are going up so they are reviewing public health orders with details on updated orders to come on Wednesday.
