Saskatchewan has Set a Goal for the Second Dose of the COVID Vaccine.

Saskatchewan health has announced by June 24th every eligible resident age 12 and older will be able to receive their second vaccine shot depending on the length of time that has passed since their first shot.

             

They reported 81 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 78.  They also announced one new death in the Saskatoon zone.  Of the new cases 17 were in Saskatoon, 14 in Regina and 13 in North West with single digits in other zones including four in Far North East.  Of the total 47,764 reported cases 899 are considered active, 46,311 people have recovered and 104 are in hospital with 17 in intensive care.

             

There are 42 active cases in Far North East.  Variants of concern identified in the province total 11,504 with 74 in Far North East.
