At approximately 5:20 Wednesday afternoon Flin Flon RCMP were notified of a threat to shoot up Hapnot Collegiate.  The school is in remote learning with minimal staff and students attending.  Three teenage boys were arrested and charged with uttering threats with all released from custody. The RCMP report one of them had access to firearms at home and those were voluntarily turned over to police until the conclusion of the investigation.

Flin Flon RCMP Sergeant Mark Svaren noted the RCMP take all threats of this nature seriously and officers will make arrests and lay charges adding threatening to shoot up a school is not a joke.
