The Medical Lead for the Vaccine Implementation Task Force Dr. Joss Reimer says updated information is needed when you go for your second vaccine dose. She explains they know that you filled it out the first time around but your health or medical condition may have changed since then and they want to know how you responded if you had any side effects for example from your first dose. She adds for some of you the type of vaccine that you’re getting for your second dose may be different from your first so for all these reasons plan to have your consent form ready.
Eligibility for the second dose has been expanded to include individuals who received their first dose on or before May 4th. The form can be found on their website www.manitoba.ca/covid19. She also reported the vaccine super site in The Pas opened yesterday.
