Plans and a Book Were Part of the Flin Flon School Board Meeting Tuesday Night.

Schools in Flin Flon continue to work on planning for next year although it remains unknown exactly what that will look like.  The Division is hoping for fewer restrictions and awaits guidance from Manitoba Education.  Plans for graduation are underway with a couple of options currently on the table.

Superintendent Tammy Ballantyne thanked the Winnipeg School Division for the 75 copies of the book “Answering the Calls: A Childs View of the 94 Calls to Action”.  The book is the result of many hours of hard work by students in grades four, five and six in English and the Alternative Winnipeg School Division.  The book which is the first of its kind assists all ages to further understand the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action through plain language.
