Eligibility for Second Doses has Expanded in Saskatchewan.

63 percent of Saskatchewan residents aged 12 and older have now received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.  People aged 65 and older or who received their first dose by March 22nd are now eligible to receive their second dose.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 130 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 131.  They also reported one new death in the North West zone. Of the new cases 46 are in Saskatoon and 22 in Regina with lower numbers in other zones with none reported in Far North East. Of the 46,964 reported cases 1285 are considered active, 45,138 people have recovered and 103 are in hospital with 22 in intensive care. As of Tuesday 10,812 variants of concern have been identified with 46 reported in the Far North East.
