The Pas Arts Council reported 120 entries in the 44th Northern Juried Art Show they hosted last week. That includes 58 artists along with 17 youth artists from 12 North of 53 communities. Winners announced from the Flin Flon area include in oil painting third to Laura Bryson of Flin Flon and honorable mention to Ann Marin from Cranberry Portage, Donna M. Champagne from Denare Beach and Ron Watt and Sandra Dixon from Flin Flon. In Acrylic and Mixed Media first to Catherine Joa of Denare Beach, third to Susan Knight of Flin Flon and honorable mention to Brandy Bloxom of Denare Beach and Monique Rainville and Susan Gunn Saray of Flin Flon. In Water Color first to Crystal Banting of Denare Beach and second and third to Ann Marin of Cranberry Portage. In Drawing and Printmaking first to Rosimeire Anjos of Flin Flon. In Digital Art and Photo first and third to Brandy Bloxom of Denare Beach. In Three Dimensional that includes leather and beading second to Donna Hurst of Flin Flon and in Three Dimensional stone wood clay metal first to Randy Beever of Creighton, third to Elaine Angelski of Denare Beach and honorable mention Doug Demytriw and Tamra Martin of Flin Flon.
