A Creating Our Community program is being offered for people 18 to 29 in The Pas, Flin Flon, Cranberry Portage, Snow Lake areas.  The Linking Young Entrepreneurs With Network and Knowledge Project Co-ordinator with Community Futures Greenstone and UCN Chelsey Meade explains the program will give youth the opportunity to expand their leadership and business skills, build confidence and pride in themselves and activate a network of inspiring individuals across the region.  This community based program will also give participants an opportunity to put their ideas and skills into action by designing their own yearend project. Meade adds the program is not intended to replace regular employment or education but to complement them.  Participants will need to commit approximately ten hours per month including biweekly meeting session as well as some occasional independent work.
