In Flin Flon for those doing their own hauling tipping fees at the landfill have been waved from now until June 7th. Landfill hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5:45 pm and Sunday noon to 4. For pick up by the city clean up begins tomorrow based on your area with details on the City of Flin Flon website www.cityofflinflon.ca, click on residential and then garbage. Metal must be in a separate pile near you garbage collection. They will not pick up recyclables, garages, decks or other large structures.
In Creighton spring clean up week is May 25th to 28th but to assist residents with their yard clean up there will be no dumping fees at the landfill from today to the 23rd. Those needing assistance with large items can contact the Town office.
In Denare Beach Village clean up runs May 25th to 28th for brush, wood, bagged leaves, household items and metals. No tires, animal waste or vehicle parts and all waste should be bagged where possible and placed where it will be convenient for pick up. Leaves that are not bagged will not be picked up.
In all locations Freon must be removed from fridges and freezers.
