COVID Numbers are Making a Move in Far North East Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan health reported 223 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 212.  They also reported five additions deaths with two in the Far North East and one each in North Central, North West and Regina zones.  Of the new cases 71 are in Saskatoon, 28 in Central East and 24 in Regina with lower numbers in other zones including nine in Far North East. Of the total 43,926 reported cases 2032 are considered active and 41,381 people have recovered.  As of Wednesday 8782 variants of concern cases have been identified with the Far North East still at eight.

             

53 percent of those 18 and over have received their first dose of vaccine.
