Manitoba public health reported 328 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 12 percent.  There were no additional deaths. Of the new cases 235 are in the Winnipeg region with much lower numbers in other regions including eight in Northern health.  

 Eight cases are reported to be active in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.

Of the total 42,779 reported cases provincially 3837 are active, 37,945 individuals have recovered and 154 are in hospital with 59 in intensive care.

Variants of concern cases reported now total 4611 with 1810 active and a total of 76 have been reported in the Northern health region to date.
