Saskatchewan Vaccine Delivery Has Topped Fifty Percent in All Age Groups.

Saskatchewan public health reported 147 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 204. They again reported no new deaths. Of the new cases 56 are in Saskatoon and 41 in Regina with much lower numbers in other zones.  Of the total 43,288 reported cases 2141 are considered active, 40,645 people have recovered and 156 are in hospital with 37 in intensive care.

             

They also report 71 percent of those over age 40, 61 percent those 30 plus and 51 percent of those 18 plus have received their first dose of vaccine.  As of Sunday 8392 variants of concern cases have been reported with the highest numbers in Regina at 4223, Saskatoon 1029, South East 863 and South Central 612.
