The Deadline is Approaching to Apply for Indigenous Community Project Grants.

Until May 14th the Saskatchewan government is accepting grant applications for the spring intake of Indigenous community projects that support economic, social and cultural projects led by Saskatchewan Indigenous organizations.  The program is administered by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Government Relations and will provide 300 thousand dollars to eligible projects in 2021-22

First Nations, Metis and Northern Affairs Minister Don McMorris says in the coming year this grant program will continue to support the priorities of the Saskatchewan Plan for Growth. He adds through their First Nations and Metis Community Partnership Project Program they want to continue funding Indigenous led projects that will lead to healing, reconciliation and long term partnerships.
