The Vaccine Age in Saskatchewan Has Dropped Again.

           

Beginning tomorrow eligibility in the provincial age based immunization program will expand to include ages 37 and over.

            

Saskatchewan public health reported 207 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 230.  They also reported three new deaths with one each in Regina, North Central and Saskatoon zones.  Of the new cases 64 were in Regina, 31 in North Central and 29 in Saskatoon with numbers in the teens and single digits in other zones.  Of the total 41,806 reported cases 2397 are considered active and 38,911 people have recovered.  As of Sunday 7296 variants of concern have been identified with Regina at 3878, Saskatoon 835, South East 750 and South Central 553 with lower numbers in other zones including Far North East holding at three.

             

The Saskatchewan government is sending 100 ventilators to India to assist them in dealing with the highest active COVID-19 numbers in the world.
