The Vaccine Age Continues to go Down in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan public health reported 213 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 245.  They also reported four new deaths with three in the Saskatoon zone and one in Regina.  Of the new cases 81 were in Regina, 47 in Saskatoon. 31 in South East and 12 in both South Central and Far North West with single digits in other zones.  Of the total 40,614 reported cases 2443 are active and 37,685 people have recovered.  As of Tuesday reported variants of concern cases total 6444 with Regina at 3584, Saskatoon 711, South East 662 and South Central 486 with lower numbers in other zones including three in Far North East.  Effective today the eligible age for vaccines is 42 and older.  Eighty percent of Saskatchewan residents over 60 have received their first doses.
