Eagle Plains Resources has been notified by option partner Rockridge Resources that it has expanded the drill program underway at the Knife Lake Project 136 kilometers north west of Flin Flon.  The drill program has expanded from 16 hundred meters in six to eight drill holes to 21 hundred in 10 to 12 drill holes and will focus on discovering VMS style copper deposits along newly defined conductors as well as at depth underneath the Knife Lake VMS deposit.  They report Gilbert Lake North and South targets where very little historical exploration has been carried out have begun to be tested with encouraging mineralization intersected in the first few holes highlighted by 2.03 percent copper, 9.88 grams per tonne silver, 0.19 grams per tonne gold and 0.36 percent zinc over 37.6 meters.  They add there is strong discovery potential in and around the deposit as well as regional targets on the property.
