The Vaccine Age is Lower in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan public health reports effective 8 o’clock tomorrow morning the eligibility in the provincial age based immunization program moves to age 44.  52 percent of Saskatchewan residents age forty plus have received their first dose,

             

They also reported 231 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 253.  They announced four new deaths all in the Regina region.  Of the new cases 75 are in Regina, 68 in Saskatoon, with much lower numbers in other zones. Of the total 38,883 reported cases 2551 are considered active, 35,863 people have recovered and 185 are in hospital with 49 in intensive care.

             

As of Tuesday 5302 variants of concern have been identified with 3118 in Regina, 543 in Saskatoon , 542 in South East, 417 in South Central and much lower numbers in other zones with Far North East remaining with two.
