COVID -19 Recoveries Have Topped 35 Thousand in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan health reported 243 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 253.  There were no new deaths reported.  Of the new cases 82 were in Regina, 47 in Saskatoon, 27 in North West and 22 in South East with numbers in the teens and single digits in other zones.  Of the total 38,401 reported cases 2626 are considered active and 35,310 people have recovered.

             

4833 variants of concern have been identified with 2919 in Regina, 472 in South East, 462 in Saskatoon, 391 in South Central and 107 in South West with lower numbers in other zones including Far North East with two.

           

The eligible age for booking vaccination appointments has been lowered to 48 years Saskatchewan.
