The Flin Flon School Division Trustees had a reminder for families and students at their latest meeting Tuesday. If you’ve been travelling out of province you are to self isolate for two weeks upon your return. If anyone is showing symptoms but is not known to be exposed they should isolate and get tested. That person needs to isolate until they have a negative test result and are free of symptoms for 24 hours or ten days from symptom onset if they choose not to be tested. Even if household members have no symptoms they should also isolate until a negative result is received.
The Board also passed a motion that the Division rarify the agreement in committee with the Flin Flon Teachers Association dated April 6th, 2021 subject to ratification by the Teachers Association. The second motion passed was to refer Bill 64 discussions to Strategic Planning.
