The Age for a Vaccine in Saskatchewan is Dropping.

Saskatchewan health reported 205 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 226.  They also reported two additional deaths with one each in the South East and Saskatoon zones. Of the new cases 91 are in Regina, 32 in Saskatoon, 23 in South East and 21 in South Central with single digits in other zones including four in Far North East.  There are now 2948 variants of concern identified in the province with the larger numbers in Regina with 2107, Saskatoon 189, South Central 260 and South East 246 with lower numbers in other zones including four in Far North East.  Of the total 35,376 reported COVID cases 2141 are considered active and 32,788 people have recovered.

             

Effective 8 tomorrow morning Saskatchewan’s vaccine booking system eligibility will be expanded to individuals 55 years and older and you can book at appointments by calling 1-833-saskvax or online www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19-vaccine.
