Four Candidates have filed papers to run for two vacant seats on Flin Flon City Council. They include Leslie Beck, Bill Hanson, Carrie Hume and Tom Therien. The winners will serve on Council until November of 2022.
Voting will take place on Wednesday May 12th from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening with all polls at Flin Flon City Hall Council Chambers. Advance voting will be held at the same location on Thursday May 6th from 8 to 8. COVID-19 protocols will be in place at all polls similar to those in place in last fall’s by-election. Those who require mail in ballots may apply to the Senior Election Official no later than three days before Election Day to vote by mail.
The vacancies were created by the death of Councillor Colleen McKee and the departure from the city by Councillor Barry Kreller.
