The Flin Flon Arts Council introduced their Uptown Emporium to members of the community last week. The Council’s Crystal Kolt explains they held a very successful annual Arts and Crafts Sale online before Christmas and that led to the Emporium with online as well as in person shopping for local and regional arts and crafts.  She says it did show them that there were a lot of people during COVID that were still making products and there were a lot of people still looking for something unique and it’s been part of the Flin Flon Arts Council’s five year plan for  a few years already to be able to have a presence on Main Street and to really have all the specialty products that are made in our communities.

Kolt adds there are always new vendors coming into the Uptown Emporium.
