Chamber Notes

The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce is still looking for a design for their new geocache coin.  The deadline for submissions has been extended to April 19th.  The theme is 80 years of community with information and rules available at the Chamber office or at www.flinflononline.com.

Work has begun on upgrading the metal flowers at the Neighbors of the North Park at the south end of Main Street.  The flowers will be taken down, sandblasted and repainted at a cost of 98 hundred dollars.  They plan to have them completed in time for the Trout Festival.

The next Chamber meeting will be a supper meeting Thursday, April 18th at the Unwinder in the Victoria Inn with supper at 6:15 and the meeting at 6:30 with speaker Brad Lantz, Vice-President of the Manitoba Business Unit for Hudbay.  Contact the Chamber office if you are attending.
