The Flin Flon Arts Council is looking for artists for the Pine Root Mural Festival. The Council’s Danielle Yungworth says they are looking for a mural for the Flin Flon Public Library wall facing the Post Office. She explains if somebody wants to submit just a design, if somebody wants to apply as a solo artists to come paint, if they want to apply as a group of five or three they are completely open so all the information is on the Arts Council Facebook page, on the Pine Root Mural Festival Facebook page and the Public Library Facebook page.
The application form can be found on the Arts Council website www.flinflonartscouncil.ca along with other information. The deadline is 4 pm April 16th. This is the Festival’s second project following the raven painting along the Perimeter Highway last year.
