Saskatchewan Residents Are Being Urged to Get Vaccinated.

Saskatchewan health reported 202 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 199.9.  Of the new cases 101 are in Regina, 22 in Saskatoon and 16 in South East with lower numbers in other zones including six in Far North East.  Of the total 33,233 reported cases 1978 are considered active and 30,822 people have recovered.

             

They also reported as of Monday 1474 variants of concern were identified by screening with 1222 in Regina,109 in South Central, 98 in South East, 25 in Central East, 17 in Saskatoon, two in Central West and one in Far North East.

             

The Government of Saskatchewan has launched a province wide multi-media campaign encouraging residents to stick it to COVID by getting vaccinated.  The campaign features Saskatchewan people sharing their stories of why they are getting vaccinated. Premier Scott Moe says they are asking people to help get back to normal by rolling up their sleeves to stick it to COVID.
