Kiddie Korner Day Care in Flin Flon has received a grant.  The Centre’s Erin Cennon says this will allow for additional programming. She explains they will be opening a space above the Lord’s Bounty Food Bank in the old church and that will allow them to open 30 spaces for before and after school programming for children in Flin Flon.  She says as well they will be able to operate full days on the Pro D days and spring break as well as through the summer holidays so parents now will have an option for full time care during the summer months when lots of them have to work.

Cennon adds the grant was received from the Manitoba Early Learning Child Care Program and will be used to do required renovations to their new space and get it operational.  She noted the support they have received from the Flin Flon School Division and Lord’s Bounty Food Bank through the process.
