Saskatchewan Has a Warning About the Spread of COVID in the Province.

Saskatchewan Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqid Shahab says with COVID-19 numbers still up in the province and with the variants of concern in the south all people should use caution. He explains all of us all throughout Saskatchewan should continue to observe everything we’ve been doing.  Be very cautious even around household bubbles as they’ve had already not just from the south but other parts of the province situations where up to three households made a bubble of ten people and then shared food indoors and there was transmission and eight out of ten, six out of ten people got COVID and so again he thinks we need to be cautious, people who are older at high risk anywhere in Saskatchewan until they’re vaccinated, outdoors is better than indoors, even indoors if you can maintain physical distance and be very careful sharing food even within your household bubble, he thinks that is a message for everyone.

Shahab reminds you to be safe, stay home, enjoy the outdoors and limit all non-essential travel especially to the Regina area as we give the vaccine a chance to protect us not only on the short term but on the long term as well.
