Saskatchewan health reported 87 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 135.  They also reported one additional death in the North West zone. Of the new cases 27 are in Regina and 20 in Saskatoon with single digits in other zones including five in Far North East.  Of the 30, 970 reported cases 1264 are considered active, 29,296 people have recovered and 139 people are in hospital with 31 in intensive care.

They noted there were no new confirmed variants of concern cases to report.  There are 135 confirmed variant cases with 121 of these cases in the Regina zone. In addition to the confirmed cases there are currently 313 presumptive variant of concern cases with 264 in Regina, 23 in South Central, 14 in South East, six in Saskatoon, five in Central East and one in Far North East.
