Vaccine Ages in Saskatchewan Continue to Expand.

Saskatchewan health reported 110 new cases of COVID19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 132.  They reported no additional deaths.  Of the new cases 53 are in Regina, and 11 in Saskatoon with lower numbers in other zones including three in Far North east.  Of the total 30,727 reported cases 1299 cases are considered active, 29,021 people have recovered and 137 are in hospital with 30 in intensive care.  There remains 70 confirmed variants of concern cases in Saskatchewan and 210 presumptive variants of concern cases with 185 of them in Regina, ten in South Central, five each in Central East and South East, four in Saskatoon and one in Far North East.

             

The Saskatchewan Health Authority Patient Booking System expanded COVID-19 vaccine appointments to people 70 years of age and older.
