Lake Winn Resources has been granted a new exploration permit on its Quartz Project 76 kilometers southeast of Flin Flon.  This Project lies near the southern shores in Reed Lake between the Reed Lake and Four Mile Island VMS deposits and contains multiple drill hole intercepts containing gold with the permit allowing for access and drill testing around the known gold mineralization.  A helicopter based V-TEM survey is underway which will provide data that will be used to plan the drill testing.

Lake Winn reports in 1975 a hole drilled by Hudson Bay Exploration and Development intersected 1.28 meters at 19.9 grams per ton gold while targeting a 1.45 kilometer long EM conductor. They drilled 19 diamond drill holes into this gold bearing zone between 1975 and 88 along a 200 meter long section of the conductor which was again drill tested by Tribune Uranium in 2007 with similar gold intercepts.  Lake Winn plans to drill along the entire 1.45 kilometer length of the conductor.
