The Northern Mining Academy is offering both Intermediate and Basic First Aid courses through April.  The Academy’s Craig Cowper explains The Basic First Aid course is a one day first aid course that used to be known as Emergency First Aid and that includes a focus on emergency situations and CPR and Automated External Defibrillator and the Intermediate First Aid that they used to call Standard First Aid for decades is a two day first aid training and it also includes CPR and AED and just more information on first aid scenarios.

Intermediate First Aid is being offered April 6^th and 7^th and April 20^th and 21^st and Basic First Aid April 13^th, 14^th, 27^th and 28^th all from 8:30 to 4.  Some of those dates have been filled but the courses will continue through May and June.  For information or to register call Craig at 204-687-7038 or email crcowper@ucn.ca.
