Prior to vaccines arriving in this area people 70 and over in the RM of Kelsey and the LUD of Cranberry Portage can travel to the Thompson Vaxport on a free flight to receive the Pfizer vaccine. The Emergency Coordinator for the RM of Kelsey Lori Forbes explains they wanted to be able to offer this to the residents of the RM and LUD of Cranberry Portage as an option for them if they choose to noting the vaccine as a whole is still going to be an option for everyone but this is just an opportunity for people to maybe get it sooner than later.
