The 18th annual Bill Bannock Classic fishing derby will take place this weekend at Clear Water lake. Gates will open at 10:30 with fishing to start at 11 AM.  The Pas Rotary Club’s Mike Dickens says they expect to see people coming in from every where this year as they are once again offering up big prizes including: a chance to catch the biggest fish for $22,000.00 and Lonesome Mary $25,000.00 for that tagged fish .

                346 early bird tickets were sold and more than 1000 people are expected to take part. There is more than 3 feet of ice on the lake but you are reminded to wear proper foot wear. Tickets will be sold right on site this Saturday.
