Ed Mason  a legendary Canadian Broadcaster has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Radio-News Director’s Association. Ed who has been working at 630 Ched in Edmonton since 2005, has worked at radio stations all over the country and got his start at CFAR-590 in 1963 when his father Eric managed the station.
            Ed will be in Winnipeg this weekend to pick up his award and remembers his time in Flin Flon fondly including being on the air when Kennedy was shot.
