There are No Reported Cases of COVID-19 in the Flin Flon District as New Case Numbers Climb in Both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Manitoba health announced 138 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate up to six percent.  They also reported two additional deaths both in the Winnipeg region.  Of the new cases 75 are in the Northern region and 52 in the Winnipeg region with single digits in other regions. Although numbers continue to be high in some parts of the north the current district map indicates there are no cases in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district. Of the total 31,145 reported cases 1153 are active, 29,114 individuals have recovered and 224 are in hospital with 27 in intensive care.

             

Meanwhile Saskatchewan health reported 146 new cases this afternoon bringing the daily average of new cases to 164. They reported no additional deaths. Of the new cases 41 are in Saskatoon and 34 in Regina with lower numbers in other zones including five in Far North East.  Of the total 27,099 reported cases 1516 are considered active, 25,221 have recovered and 178 people are in hospital with 23 in intensive care.
