Be COVID Safe Over the Long Weekend.

Saskatchewan health reported 195 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the average of daily new cases to 170.  They also reported two deaths with one in Saskatoon and one in the Central East zone.  Of the new cases 54 are in Saskatoon, 27 in Regina, 21 in Far North West and 19 in North Central with lower numbers in other zones including nine in Far North East.  Of the total 26,145 reported cases 1900 cases are considered active, 23,895 individuals have recovered and 182 are in hospital with 23 in intensive care.

             

They also remind you to stay safe this Family Day weekend by keeping your plans within your immediate household.  If you are headed outdoors you may gather in groups of ten with two meters of physical distancing between household groups. Food should not be shared between non-household members.  Stay close to home as non-essential travel is not recommended at this time.
